Frank Paluka
Mr. Paluka retired before his photo could be included in the faculty section of our annual.
However, our website wouldn't be complete without mention of him. He was one of the most
respected teachers at Thomas Jefferson High School and he respected his students in return.
He was a walking encyclopedia of American History and passionate that his students
were as well.
He was kind and patient with his students, but he insisted on decorum in his classroom.
His gavel (shown in the photo) was his trademark and he used it with the authority of a
Supreme Court Judge.
He was one-of-a-kind and he will forever occupy a place in the hearts of his students.
